Debra Prevost – President/CEO
2012 marks Debra’s 32nd year in Real Estate in Arizona. She served as Executive Manager for Century 21 Regional Headquarters, supervised Century 21’s involvement in Easter Seals and acted as liaison for individual brokers in over 20 franchises in the southwest United States.
Since 1990, Debra has been directly involved in Real Estate education and has been dedicated to improving the skills of real estate professionals. Her passion for the industry and for helping others prompted her to open AARE. Since then she has remained directly involved in every aspect of the school to ensure that every one of her students receives the best possible experience at AARE. Debra is also very involved with the Arizona Humane Society and other local charities and provides many classes to benefit their cause. Nate Hoelzen – Director of Marketing
Nate brings his background in journalism and graphic design to keep AARE on the leading edge of technology. He oversees AARE's online presence as well as all student communications, learning material and overall experience at AARE.
After graduating from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Nate worked in radio music production for twelve years and also served as managing editor for Sun City Living newspaper. In 2010, Nate joined AARE to help establish our school as the leading real estate school in Arizona. He remains focused on keeping AARE as Arizona's fastest growing real estate school. Lynette Hunter – Dynamic Directives Administrator
Lynette spent 20 years as a Commercial Banker, an investment broker and then Regional Sales Manager for banks and mortgage companies in Montana. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Montana State University in Billings, Montana, Lynette attended graduate classes through the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle. She moved to Arizona in 1996 to pursue her passion for golf as the Golf Sales Manager for a resort in Tucson and recently moved to Scottsdale to play more golf. Monika Hovland – Campus Operations Specialist
Monika has been in the real estate field since 1997. She has been a Valley resident since 1981. Monika started on the ground floor and helped grow the Commercial Real Estate Institute. During her time with CREI she was the Administrator and General Manager. This included being connected with the Arizona Department of Real Estate and many other Boards and Associations. She developed many working relationships with REALTORS® whether they were instructors or students.
Monika then went on to assist Mariesa Arthur PC who developed a new agent training program that is now implemented through DPR Realty. Monika would assist mentoring agents with administrative tools they need to help their new agents succeed. Marketing played a role in all areas of her administrative real estate career.
In 2010 Monika created her own company for fun. Sweet Delights Ice Cream Truck keeps her busy on weekends along with her two children, Emilee and Camden and husband Michael. Marlene Haendler – Student Services Representative
Marlene has over fifteen years experience in the Real Estate School profession. She knows the ins and outs of AARE's facility and she is always available to students for any questions they might have. Her greatest strength is customer service and you’ll notice this the first time you meet her. She will always welcome you with a friendly smile!
