Description: 

At the conclusion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Explain the chaotic market conditions to their client and how they will affect their clients’ decisions
  • Explain their responsibilities along with their clients’ responsibilities to disclose material facts to all parties
  • Explain their individual responsibilities to their customers and clients and distinguish the differences between the two
  • Identify and fulfill the fifteen major expectations that sellers have of their agent
  • Identify and fulfill the twelve major expectations that buyers have of their agent
  • Assist their client with the five-step process of due diligence in making an informed decision on a real estate transaction
  • Identify and provide the major short sale disclosures to their seller and buyer clients
  • Identify and implement nine key risk management steps in their practice to protect themselves and their clients in real estate transactions

Requirement Changes In Effect for New Agents

Licensees are now required to obtain a Security Clearance Card prior to getting a license.  An application form must be completed and submitted to the Department of Public Safety along with a fingerprint card and a money order for $69.  The waiting period can be between 4 weeks to 6 weeks.
