Description:

This class provides an overview of the difference between contingency clauses and breachable clauses in the AAR Residential Purchase Contract. Attendees will learn about what happens when a contingency is unfulfilled or when a clause is breached, including extensive discussion of the Cure Period. The recent changes to the AAR Residential Purchase Contract are reviewed, and relevant examples of issues as it relates to current market conditions are discussed including short sales and lender owned properties

Requirement Changes In Effect for New Agents

Licensees are now required to obtain a Security Clearance Card prior to getting a license.  An application form must be completed and submitted to the Department of Public Safety along with a fingerprint card and a money order for $69.  The waiting period can be between 4 weeks to 6 weeks.
