As a result of this program, the student will be able to:

  • Explain the six vital components of a contract to their client
  • Explain the differences between a realty mortgage, trust deed and agreement for sale
  • Explain the three different foreclosure/forfeiture processes to the client
  • Explain the protections offered the borrower by the Arizona Anti-Deficiency Statute
  • Explain to their client alternative purchase options and how they should be integrated into the contract
  • Identify and disclose the contractual pitfalls of short sales to both the buyers and sellers
  • Explain the components of the Financing Section of the AAR Contract, Lender Pre-Qualification form and Loan Status Report to their clients

Requirement Changes In Effect for New Agents

Licensees are now required to obtain a Security Clearance Card prior to getting a license.  An application form must be completed and submitted to the Department of Public Safety along with a fingerprint card and a money order for $69.  The waiting period can be between 4 weeks to 6 weeks.
